Is anyone else completely freaking out that it is almost July? I didn't get as much knitting done this month as I would've liked, so I really need to buckle down for the rest of the summer. Starting Monday, I gave myself a mini-goal to accomplish - knit or crochet something for AT LEAST an hour a day. I can already see the results! I'm almost finished with the baby blanket I've been working on! All I need to do is connect the rest of the squares, sew the rows together, and add the edging. *gulp* Ok...maybe I'm not almost finished.
I've been caught up in the technology tornado the past few weeks. I seriously have an unhealthy addiction to the Instagram app. So, it's time to get back on track and focus on what's more important - creating fun new things for the shop!
As the oh-so-wise Michael Scott would say, "Knit like the wind, Meredith!"
I really love the colors of that blanket. So simple, yet so lovely.
ReplyDeleteIt really makes me want to make another blanket of my own ... but I think maybe I should finish some other projects first.
Instagram is WAY addicting!

ReplyDeleteInstagram is completely addicting...I've been on vacation so I haven't been on in three days!
But now I'm back to mindlessly scrolling through thousands of pictures (including yours) :)
he he - that's how I always feel about blankets...it's like I forget how much work it is to make everything one piece! lol. Or maybe I'm hoping it'll go faster, always?? Anyhoo - I feel ya - almost June?! I'm stuck in January a bit, still. :) Can't wait to see it all finished!

ReplyDeletewhat do your squares consist of? are they just rows of double crochets?
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about making jewelry, but the thing is: I have so much stock already!

The squares are lovely. What yarn are you using for this project. Haven't crocheted in years. It's time I pick up my hooks again.
