Weekend Plans 10/28 - 10/30

I'm afraid my weekends are going to be a bit boring from now until the Jingle Bash. It's all knitting and all crochet all the time over here. Good thing I love it so much! My hands started cramping up really bad the other day...whew.

Here's what I have planned for a yarn-filled weekend...

1. I'm so excited to bake these chocolate chip pumpkin cookies again! I saw Naomi of The Rockstar Diaries baking them up all the time and had to give them a try. They are probably the best cookies ever. No. Definitely.
2. Knit, knit, knit, crochet, crochet, crochet and repeat until my hands go numb!! ;)
3. Since it is Halloween weekend, I'll definitely squeak in some candy corn snacks and an annual viewing of It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, my absolute favorite!

I'm a little bummed that I don't have a reason to dress up this year. What are you wearing for Halloween? I'll try to live vicariously through your cute costumes! Haha. ;)

Have a great weekend!

  2. Sounds like a great weekend, but make sure to give your wrists a break. Tendinitis is not fun.. (Says the girl who totally over did it and couldn't knit for 9 months so now I'm scared of over-crafting.)

That Charlie Brown movie is so cute! I had never seen it until two Halloweens ago, crazily enough. xD Have a great weekend!

  3. Ahhhh, I love that hot chocolate plush! SO CUTE!!!

I'm gonna be a gothic rag doll! Nearly all home-made, all I had to purchase was striped arm warmers and tights!

  10. I'm quite amused by this American pumpkin craze that I'm only now learning about! SO I got myself a recipe for pumpkin spice latte, maybe tomorrow I'll try it out :-)
    Enjoy the weekend.

but i don't understand this "no reason to dress up" concept. It's halloween! i don't need a reason, i need an excuse!

  16. I love The Great Pumpkin!!! My favorite thing to watch on Halloween! We are not really celebrating it too much in the Netherlands. I think most people just used it as an excuse to get drunk while wearing a costume. Pretty sad.

  18. Oooh those cookies sound like a must try! My weekend involved lots of housework before we go away for a winter cottage break. A bit of knitting but not as much as I'd like! 4 days of knitting await me tho - I can hardly believe it!
