- knitting and crocheting like a mad woman
- lots of coffee
- watching Dr. Who on Netflix! (I just started season 2 and it's official...I'm hooked!)
- reading Emma, Middlemarch, and In Cold Blood for class. (Quite a spectrum of reading, huh?)
- writing papers
- working on my booth set up
I only have two weekends left until the Jingle Bash, so I really want to make this time count! I'm getting really nervous though...lots of butterflies already. Oh man, I can only imagine what I'll be like on the day of the Bash...deep breaths everyone...haha. ;)
Thanks again for all of the support as I try to balance my school work, Etsy, and craft show prep this month. I just can't get over how awesome you guys are. Sometimes I don't feel much support from my "real life" friends and family, but your kind words will definitely keep me going through this crazy month ahead.
What are you up to this weekend?
Love your weekend plans! Especially the Doctor Who bit! I love Doctor Who!!!

Thats such a lot to take on - serious admiration for you right now!
ReplyDeleteI'm just working on Nerd Wars projects and I am designing a pair of mitts that I have been working the technical kinks out of before I start my test knitting, which should begin sometime today.

I always love your weekend plans posts, but I think you have a bit of a typo in your post title ; )
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fantastic weekend! Though, despite the fact that I see everyone talking about how much they love Dr. Who... I've never seen it. I supposed that's one bandwagon I need to jump on.
ReplyDeleteThis weekend will hopefully be filled with friends, work, and learning. I love the book selections you have to read-- a strong cup of coffee should complement them, perfectly!
Oh my goodness Julia! Thank you so much for pointing that out...silly me. I guess I'm trying to turn back time. Haha!
ReplyDeleteHaha I love it -- we are kindred spirits! I've been watching a TON of Doctor Who on my iPad while i work too! I just finished season 4.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the Jingle Bash!

ReplyDeleteYay Doctor Who! You are really in for a treat with that series, but I suppose you know that by now, being in the 2nd season. :D
ReplyDeleteMy plans for this weekend include knitting on some socks, spinning some white corriedale, and sewing up some valances for my windows.
Good luck on everything, and just keep working hard, but not too hard! You'll be fine. :)
You love Doctor Who? IT'S MY LIFE! :D I was the Tardis for Halloween :) I LOVE these pictures! It looks like you have a lot planned for the weekend! This weekend for me, is a weekend for sleep... ha ha ;)

you'll need all the coffee you can stomach to get through Middlemarch. it's good, but so drawn out. when I read it i had to keep a pen and pad near to write down all the great quotes. enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the Dr Who addicts! :)
ReplyDeleteI love your cute lil 'weekend plan' photos, always! :) Good luck with everything! I'm stuck at work right now, but I so wish I was home crocheting my design project or finishing Frankenstein for English class...he he. Yay, assigned reading! (Really...I do like it - no sarcasm there.) :)
ReplyDeleteI always love your little pictures of yarn and books and pretty things! So cute and cozy. Your weekend plans sound pretty awesome to me!

Sounds like a fabulous weekend - I love your set-up! This weekend is all about my best friend's birthday for me - and petsitting!
ReplyDeleteCan I just say your weekend work zone pictures are gorgeous? They constantly inspire me! I love them! :D
ReplyDeleteThis weekend is for relaxing, cleaning, apple cider, crocheting like crazy, planning blog features and doing a lovely review!
I hope your Jingle Bash goes WONDERFULLY. In fact, I KNOW IT WILL! Have a very lovely weekend!
You have a really nice weekend, even though it is busy.
ReplyDeleteI spend my weekend sewing, reading and watching movies :)
Oh my goodness, those cups with animals are SO COOL! I bet coffee tastes even better in them, haha :D Your weekend looks really nice, although busy :)
ReplyDeleteI have no doubt in my mind that you will get everything done (and done beautifully). Im sorta in a similar boat, in that im balancing school, my etsy, and work.... Im feeling the push to quit my job and focus solely on finishing up school and also on expanding my creative endeavors. It is a scary thought, but the opportunity is there....
ReplyDeleteHope the Jingle Bash goes well! I just finished my very first Baker's Market where I sold my cupcakes for the very first time! I'm a student too, so I know how much work goes into these things! Looking forward to seeing how it goes! xo
ReplyDeletedoctor who, jane austen, and knitting?
ReplyDeleteit's nice to know those three things go hand in hand. (now if only someone creates a way to do all three at once)
love your blog.
Ooh! I love and David Tennant (the Doctor from seasons 2-4) is my favorite Doctor! <3 He's wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteAll your crafty things look great, and Emma is one of my favorite stories. :D
And good luck with your booth! I know you'll do great with it! :D
I've just started reading Emma as well! It's such a great read! :)
