Weekend Plans 1/6 - 1/8

Hooray for the weekend! I hope you all had a great week getting back into a routine now that the holidays are over. Although, I still have a few weeks of Christmas break...hehe. I guess there are some good things about college. ;-) Here's what I have going on this weekend:

- I started organizing my film photos from last year in an album. Now I need to go through and write little captions about each one so I can remember where and when they were taken. I'm definitely getting into this new year organization kick.
- I tweeted about my cute desk calendar from 2011 earlier this week trying to come up with ideas on how to reuse it. Everyone had so many amazing ideas! I think for at least a few of the squares I am going to mount some of my printed Instagram photos and display them around my apartment. I will definitely share the finished product.
- There are a few hearts and lovey-dovey knit and crochet ideas floating around in my head for Valentine's day. I can't wait to get to work and put them in the shop!
- Oh Frank. I love reading this book, Frank - The Voice, and I can't wait to discover more about his genius. Fun Fact: Did you know Frank Sinatra was only 5'7''? Oh well. Even though I'm 5'11'', Sinatra is still my dream man. ;-)

That's pretty much it!  What are you doing for the weekend?

  1. I started blogging for confidence today. It's in Dutch, so you won't be able to understand, but thank you for inspiring me ♥
I love your blog. You remind me of New girl (the tv-show) I don't know why, hope this is not offending in any way ;)

  7. Sounds like a fun filled weekend! I will hopefully be able to sew my first project - a crochet hook case - if my fabric comes in the mail. Also will have to get everything packed up and ready to move back in the dorm for next week. Spring semester... wahoo!

  10. We should seriously be friends...I literally cried the day after Frank died. I was 16 and so into jazz choir (and so 16). Weekend plans: volunteer at my local botanical library, start a sewing project TBD, eat fettucine alfredo made by me. Maybe work out (afterthought). P.S. you should totally try Kevin Murphy's colorbug. Your foray into blue hair reminded me of it :)

  12. I will be living vicariously through you and all the others in this lovely blog community. I must lay low before surgery on Tuesday to repair my broken paw - a sad no-knit start to 2012 for me, I'm afraid. Also, I need all the book/movie/anything suggestions I can get! If you think of anything please send them my way. Have a good weekend! I've got my eye on that Frank book of yours.

  18. Hello!
This is my first time visiting your blog, and it is SO lovely!
How is the Frank book?! I have had my eye on it for a while now, and think I may have to give it a read. (My collection of his vinyls is pretty embarrassing...)
Looking forward to reading more posts!
