A Picture an Hour - March 3rd

10:00 a.m. // Gathering my materials to do some knitting in the car
11:00 a.m. // Walking around Bishop Arts District
12:00 p.m. // While waiting for our table at Oddfellows, I had a latte outside on the patio. It was such a beautiful day!
1:00 p.m. // This fried green tomato sandwich was worth the wait. Probably the best sandwich of my life!
2:00 p.m. // I spotted these cute, cat measuring cups in We Are 1976! A little to pricey for me though...
3:00 p.m. // Time for the Etsy Dallas meeting! We met up at the coolest house where all sorts of animals roamed free. They even had chickens! Haha. It was so great visiting with everyone. However, I was a little embarrassed when I saw people wearing such creative name tags, like Kelly's awesome version. I guess I missed the "make your own name tag" bit in the email...yikes!
4:00 p.m. // Knitting in the car
5:00 p.m. // I found a lovely vintage brooch in the mail from Baby Bird Vintage. It is so beautiful!
6:00 p.m. // A little run on the treadmill with my two favorite guys from Psych. It probably isn't safe to run when I'm laughing so much...
7:00 p.m. // Movie time!
8:00 p.m. // "How do you shave in there?"
9:00 p.m. // Finishing up a few crochet bows
10:00 p.m. // A little reading before bed

It was the perfect Saturday! The weather was so nice. I really enjoyed walking around Bishop and looking in all of the cool shops.

I love these photo an hour posts. They really push me to use my camera in situations where I would normally keep it tucked inside my bag. My only regret of the day was not snapping a picture of the guy typing away on his typewriter at one of the sidewalk tables. I was just too embarrassed to walk up and disturb him! If only he knew how jealous I was of his super-cool typewriter and confidence to use it outside. ;-)

  8. The cat measuring cups are awesome! I did a similar post last weekend but rainy winter days spent studying can't compete with your eventful life!

ps: how do you like the pattern for the fawn poncho so far?

    1. My life is not usually so eventful...haha. I tried to do a a picture an hour post during a school day and it just didn't happen. I kept forgetting to take pictures throughout the day! Plus, people looked at me funny when I took a picture of my desk. ;-)

I'm loving the pattern so far! I'm just about to start the actual fawn section and I'm really excited!

  9. Wow, I didn't realize how soft that green yarn looks! It's simply stunning.

I should definitely try that sometime soon. It's such a great idea to get one's photographic juices flowing!

  15. What a prefect day! I'm so jealous that you can knit in the car. I get sick just looking down at my phone for a few seconds. I can't do anything in the car but look outside! It makes road trips kind of boring.

    I love your blog!

  21. I love those footprints! :)

I have that same moment when taking photos when I'm shy, it's a pity because we both just need a friend to egg us on. Whats the worst typewriter guy could say? no thank you?

Do you have your own treadmill? watching stuff while exercising seems a great idea. I normally read my study book. which is hard when running cos im not steady, but its great on the bikes.
