So this weekend, along with lots and lots of sleeping, I plan to...
1. Send out thank you notes for the lovely graduation gifts I've already received. I feel so blessed.
2. I still have a take home essay to write for my other English class so that will require lots of tea and scouring through the books we read this semester. I am just so ready to be done with it!
3. Since Mother's Day is coming up and my mom is the greatest ever, I have a cute yarn embellished card idea that I want to try tonight! I'm sure she will love it!
4. Paint my nails...because I never do that. ; )
5. For my literary journalism class, we had to pick a work of non-fiction to write a paper about in addition to a class presentation. I chose My Life in Paris by Julia Child and LOVED IT. It made me so hungry! So, I have to get started on my presentation for Tuesday. At least it is an interesting topic!
I can't believe this time next week is graduation-eve! There is so much to do! Yikes...
In the words of Scarlett O'Hara...fiddle-dee-dee...I'll think about that tomorrow. ; )
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!! What are you up to?

Glad you liked the Julia Child book because I just Amazon-ed it based on your rec! ;) Love her. Incredible life.
ReplyDeleteI love your photos so very much.
ReplyDeleteI can't take naps either! The only times I've napped since preschool were when I was really sick (and all you feel like doing is sleeping) or stayed up all night at a church lock-in. :)
ReplyDeleteI adore "My Life in France"! I read it at the beginning of 2011, and it's one of my favorite memoirs ever. So fascinating. I'm still looking for my own copy (I'm picky because I really want the hardback edition with the picture of her and her husband on the front. I loved reading about their relationship! And I want to find it used so I don't have to pay $20 on Amazon :).

Love this! The cards are my fave. :-) Also, congrats on graduating! Have fun painting your nails & being a crafty little gal. <3
ReplyDeleteYou're almost done! I hope you have a fantastic weekend, and get some much needed rest!
ReplyDeletetomorrow i'll stop by the etsydallas bash before driving to a wedding job! sunday is all about relaxing. ;] have a great one! xo
ReplyDeleteI just started following your blog and it's great! Hoping you have a productive weekend! Don't forget to breathe! :)
ReplyDeleteOh how I wish I were incapable of taking naps! My body and mind are really craving one right now, actually. My weekend - and whole week - will be filled with working on tons of assignments and building up a terrible lack of sleep. Haa, the life of a nerdy student... (Although I do secretly love it!)
ReplyDeleteI am so excited by the fact that you quoted Gone With the Wind, you don't even know! :D One of my favorite books of all time. But hang in there! It's alllllmost over. ;)
ReplyDeleteHah, I always thought I was the only person who doesn't take naps. My trouble isn't falling asleep but waking up again! I can easily nap for 4-5 hours. Whoops. And I always feel really exhausted after taking a nap so I never ever nap. Hang in there, only one more week and you have a trip to France to look forward to!
ReplyDeleteI am the same way when it comes to naps. The couple of times I have been able to nap I am usually asleep for no more than 10 mins and then wake up in such a panic thinking I have slept through the following day. It is neither enjoyable or refreshing.
ReplyDeletemeredith, you always take the loveliest photos (:
