Writing for Gathered by Mollie Makes!

Happy Friday everyone! I am so excited to finally share this news! The new iPad magazine Gathered by Mollie Makes just launched and I am honored to be a contributing writer. I have been working on articles and projects for the last few months and it is so exciting to see one of my articles in the first issue!

Gathered is a weekly iPad magazine that includes craft projects, articles, artist interviews, and videos in a beautiful, digital-only publication. I started reading the first issue yesterday afternoon and I am blown away by how perfectly it works with the iPad. I am honored to be part of this exciting new adventure for the Mollie Makes team.

I will have more articles and fun craft projects in the upcoming issues so keep an eye out! I hope you enjoy the magazine as much as I do. This opportunity is definitely dream come true. :)

I hope you all have a great weekend! I am going to a baby shower and spending time with family. What are you up to? Have you had a chance to take a look at Gathered yet?

  30. Well done! I'm not a subscriber (no ipad!) but noticed you were mentioned in MM as a contributor.

  31. Hi Meredith! I can only reach you by comment window just now but I was hoping you'd give Gathered some feedback for me - I subscribed and that all works fine, but it takes 20 mins to download each issue (way longer than the whole of Mollie Makes on Zinio or even the whole of a Martha Stewart Living!) for what is supposed to be a "quick" weekly read. To be honest, this has really made me lose interest, coupled with projects a 7 year old could do. The presentation is very pretty but the "interaction" superfluous, really. I don't mean to be a grumpy-guts but after yet another agonising wait (you can't do anything else with the ipad while it downloads...) and disappointing flick-through in a couple of minutes, this is the only way I can find to reach the folk at Gathered!

Otherwise I continue to really enjoy your blog and follow it regularly - nice energy there! So thanks!!
