Weekend Plans 11/9 - 11/11

Happy Friday! After a week of sinus headaches and not enough crafting time, I am definitely ready for the weekend. Here's what I have planned so far...

- I found this plain, ribbed sweater recently and I knew right away that it would be perfect for another sweater makeover. I've had this idea on my mind for awhile now and I can't wait to finally give it a try!

- The 50th issue of Frankie Magazine and its amazing embroidered cover is finally in my hands. The whole magazine is inspiring but the cover is just so beautiful it makes me want to embroidery everything in sight!

- I need to take the time to send a few notes to faraway friends and family.

- It's a good thing I love making these ornaments because I am currently surrounded by crochet teacups and hot cocoa mugs! Over the next few days, I'm going to try to add to that pile and work on other Etsy goodies for the holidays. Make sure you get your orders in soon before the holiday rush!

Combine all of that with getting to see one of my best friends in the world on Sunday, this weekend is definitely going to be a good one. I hope yours is just as great!

What do you have planned?

  2. You have such a sweet way of sharing your weekend plans, I always love when I see these posts in my feed. <3 We have planned a LOT of cleaning, watching the new episode of The Walking Dead; I plan on focusing on some mini blog make-over projects and of course, gaming, our favorite hobby. ^_^ I may also practice my crochet, but I am SO horrible with making a straight chain! It's all wobbly. :P

    1. I really wanted to do the Jingle Bash again but unfortunately they decided to cancel it this year. :(

I would love to do the Etsy Dallas Spring Bash in a few months and hopefully do the Jingle Bash next year!

  4. I can't wait for your sweater makeover! Your first one is adorable. I love embellishing clothes and recently did a sweater makeover of my own.

P.S. I pretty much always buy magazines because of a pretty cover. Vain? Probably, but I don't care ;)

  9. Oh my goodness, I can't believe that the last sweater post was that long ago! I'm always surprised when I realize just how long I've been following a blogger. (And I started following you much earlier than February!) It makes me want to start my own blog like I've been wanting to do for forever.

  11. Ahh my weekend is over but I spent it... Putting up curtains! Ok, sounds boring but I did manage to go to town (on a Saturday) which was hideously busy *but* I accomplished my main goal of changing some chinos that were too small and I bought an aMaZiNg knitted christmas jumper with a big Christmas pudding on it. You would love it!!
