This weekend I went to the rain-soaked downtown McKinney square to hopefully come across some handkerchiefs for an upcoming project. I am so happy with the variety of colors and patterns I was able to find. The one with the lace corner and flower embroidery is my favorite of the bunch. It is so delicate and sweet. I can't wait to get started on the project so I can share it with you soon!
Also, when I was about to leave the shop, I looked up to discover this perfect mug sitting on a shelf. My hand immediately grabbed it when I saw the Samuel Johnson quote. Apparently it is a pretty rare Wedgwood cup and the design is discontinued. I am so thankful that I was able to visit London last year. When this cup is filled to the brim with tea it will be a nice reminder that I might be able to return to London someday soon. :)
I hope you are having a great start to the week! How was your weekend?
