I love using Instagram as a way to capture inspiring images and colors. It has been awhile since I shared any on the blog so I thought I would post some of my recent favorites. I think the bright and cheerful colors in these photos reflect my optimistic outlook for 2013!
// 1. An inviting chair outside of The Shabby Sheep // 2. A colorful yarn palette for spring. // 3. Doing some after Christmas shopping. // 4. New crochet stitches. // 5. Vintage handkerchief finds. // 6. Hello weekend. // 7. A random, beautiful, and snowy Tuesday morning. // 8 & 9. A few peeks of my new workspace set up. // 10. My new favorite mug. // 11. A baking adventure. // 12. A finished bow hat. // 13. A free printable 2013 wall calendar found here. //
If you had the day off, I hope you enjoyed this nice three day weekend. I'm excited to share more photos of my workspace this week and tackle some new projects.

Your Instagram photos are beautiful - so clean and bright and they all have the same overall color/look to them - can I ask, do you use one specific Instagram filter or do you use a different app to edit them before posting to Instagram? I just really love the cohesion you achieve :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Laura! I use the Valencia filter a lot. I also use Snapseed and Afterglow to brighten and edit the images. :)
DeleteAwesome, thanks! I'm definitely going to check both of those apps out! Also, you might want to check out the VSCo app (reviewed here on pugly pixel: http://blog.puglypixel.com/2012/09/25/noteworthy-vsco-iphone-app/) it allows you to achieve really subtle edits - which it seems like you're into ;) Thanks again!
DeleteI love those little crocheted scallops! Super cute.

I know a lot of people were asking on Instagram, yet no answer, so I thought I would try here as well... May I please ask where the "hello" sweater was bought, and if the collar is part of it? It's one of the pieces I am the most attracted to in ages and I can't stop thinking about it! I'd be really greatful if you'd let us know the credits... Thank you so very much!!
ReplyDeleteHi Elka! I actually did mention where I purchased the sweater early in the comments on that Instagram photo. I purchased the sweater from Hello Apparel - http://shop.hellomerch.com/collections/helloapparel. The collar is separate. It is a shirt I bought from H&M last year, no longer available online.
DeleteHey! you are looking good in the picture! So confident, a woman of the world!
ReplyDeletegorgeous photos, love the colours of yarn & your coat is gorgeous :)
ReplyDeletethat bow hat is quite adorable! i want one! (will you be releasing the pattern?)
