Knitting // The delicate cables in this Quince & Co. sock pattern look a little intimidating but I would love to give it a try!
Crochet // A beautiful piece of vintage crochet work done around the edges of ric rac.
Handmade // This dreamy flower garland is made of hand-painted paper petals.
Style // Bri's dream job style posts are absolutely stunning! I especially love her beautiful florist inspired look.
Art // Each letter in this delicate floral alphabet was created by hand and photographed by Anne Lee.
I wish I had a garden or the ability to keep flowers alive for longer than a weekend. My tulips from Friday are already drooping a little bit. Hopefully the color will stay bright through the first few days of next week. Now that spring is here, I can't stop snapping photos of pretty blooms when I am out and about. I really want to visit the Dallas Arboretum again this season. I'm sure their tulips will put my sad bunch to shame. ;)
I hope you had a great weekend! I am thankful for the time to rest and work on new projects. I think I will go out for a nice walk before getting ready for the new week. A lot of exciting things are happening around here and I can't wait to share soon!
Also, I announced the Fringe Supply Co. giveaway winner here! Thank you so much for entering!
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

You should definitely give the intricate sock pattern a try. I recently did a complicated overlay crochet pattern for the first time. It was both challenging and fun. I really learned a lot.
ReplyDeletea puffed pancake it's the thing missing from my life!
ReplyDeleteA real floral treat - as and ex-florist I adore this curation! I would be soooo proud I I could make a pair of socks like that, unfortunately I have chickened out before I even look at the pattern!

Oh, the socks are so beautiful. I love knitting socks so much!
ReplyDeleteThose socks look time consuming. But once you get a rhythm, the knitting goes by quite quickly! Have you made socks before?
ReplyDeleteI made a pair of slipper socks awhile ago with two strands of yarn held together. The socks are really thick so it was a really quick knit! I will definitely give this pair a try soon.
DeleteIf your tulips are drooping, prick a pin through the stem just underneath the head. Gently does it and they will jump back up straight!

Thank you so much for the tip Claire! I will give it a try! :)
DeleteOh, the honey cloud pancake looks SO yum! :) Definitely have to try it!! :)
ReplyDeletePuffy pancakes (and omelettes!) are amazing. When I was little my mom used to make them for me, and I thought they were called puppy pancakes and puppy omelettes.
ReplyDeleteOh dang those flower letters are so lovely. I wish there was a computer font out of those. I need to start pressing flowers at home!
ReplyDeletea good tip for keeping flowers happy for longer is to put them in a mixture of water and 7-up/sprite/other clear sugar-infused soda. it's basically liquid flower food!
